Funeral services for Jackie M “Big Jack” Stovall, age 70 of Oxford, will be Saturday, January 7, 2017, 1:00 PM in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home.

The Rev. Chris Clay and Rev. Chris Spurlin will be officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oxford Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Stovall passed away on Tuesday at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Judy Stovall, sons; Jerome Stovall (Tanya), Jackie Stovall (Wanda), daughters; Stacy Adams (Steve), Shelley Stovall, daughter in-law, Stephanie Ivey, brothers; Robert Stovall, Tony Stovall, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Tommy Clay, Terry Williams, Steve Adams,Johnny Sloan, Mike Watts, Jonathan Todd, Blake Gilmore and Jonathan Parker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Neil Ladley, Billy Cambron and Todd Spears.

Mr. Stovall was a lifelong resident of Oxford and was employed by Pepsi Cola for 15 years and also employed by the City of Oxford Park and Recreation Department for the past 25 years as Concession Stand Manager.

The greatest pride was his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was a preceded in death by his mother, Audry C Stovall, father, Marvin E Stovall, sisters, Sally Stovall, Wanda Kidd and a brother, Sam Stovall.

Mr. Stovall was a Alabama Football Fan- Roll Tide!. He was loved by many.

The Stovall family would like to send a special thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Dorsey and The City of Oxford for their kindness and support, Stringfellow ICU Staff and Doctors.
