Joseph Tewes, aged 59, husband of Margaret Lemmer Tewes, died yesterday at 5 a.m. In his late residence, 301 Cedarhirst St. At Beltzhoover, Pittsburgh. He was a member of the German Evangelical Church of Arlington Avenue and Industry St.
He is survived by his widow; four sons, August C., Frederick B., John G., and Carl J. Tewes; two daughters, Mrs. Carl J. L. Schiller and Mrs. W. E. Noble; five grandchildren and one brother, Lawrence C. Tewes.
Interment in the South Side Cemetery.
