Died in this county on Monday the 19th instant after a short illness, Mrs. Parmela Drake, consort of Mr. Andrew Drake aged 42 years, leaving a husband and 8 children. Lynchburg Virginian please copy.

"Permelia Drake departed this life October 19th, 1829 and in a few months after she had delivered an infant child which was born dead, Aged 42 years and 14 days."
