Margaret Grace Little, 93 of 140 Eisenhower Drive, Chambersburg, and formerly of 711 Clayton Avenue, Waynesboro died at 7:15 A. M. Wednesday, July 3, in the Chambersburg Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past three years and was critically ill for the past six weeks.

Born Oct 11, 1897 in Quincy Township she was the daughter, and third child of the late Harry E. and Addie (Rossman) Snyder. She lived most of her life in the Waynesboro area.

She and her husband Alson S. "Si" Little, were married May 30, 1917. He died on Oct 25, 1981. Mrs. Little lived at the Clayton Avenue residence for 65 years until moving to live with her son Robert in 1989.

She graduated from the Quincy High School with the Class of 1914 and attended the Shippensburg Normal School.

In her early life, she taught at the Quincy Township School.

Mrs. Little was a member of the Faith United Methodist Chruch where she was in charge of the church's kitchen committee for a number of years and served on the Altar Guild.

She was a Gold Star Mother of the Joe Stickell American Legion Post No. 15 and a past member of the Mount Vernon Eastern Star, both of Waynesboro.

She is survived by two sons, Robert S. Little of Chambersburg and Jack V. Little of Waynesboro six grandchildren - Sally Yingst Manning, Vicki Lynne Little Waller, Cindy Little Mann, Laurie Little Wright, Carole Ann Little Kline, and Jack Little, Jr.; 10 great grandchildren - Melissa Waller, Jason Waller, Shannon Kline, Sarah Kline, Carmen Manning, Courtney Wright, Sheila Manning, Josh Manning, Alicia Manning, and Theresa Manning. three sisters, Frances Bohn and Elizabeth Fitz, both of Waynesboro and Lena Snyder of Quincy; and one brother Donald Snyder of Shippensburg.

She was preceeded in death by two children, Frances M. Yingst in 1981 and Lt. Alson S. Little Jr. in 1944. Also sisters Carrie Belle Snyder, Violetta Geesaman and Cora Hoffman, and brothers Leslie Snyder and James Snyder.

Services will be held at 11 A. M. Monday in the Grove Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence L. Earnst officiating. Burial will be in Quincy Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 9 to 10:45 A. M. Monday at the funeral home.
