Born August 2, 1942 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leslie S. "Doc" and Edith R. (Heinzelman) Bonebrake.
Mrs. Patterson was a graduate of Waynesboro High School with the Class of 1962.
She and her husband of 32 years, Mr. Jesse C. Patterson, were married July 21, 1973 in Waynesboro. They lived at 304 Reservoir Avenue, Waynesboro, before moving to their present residence in 1987.
Mrs. Patterson was first employed for Connie's Sportswear, Waynesboro, from 1962-1970. From 1970-1974, she was employed for Freeman's Shoes of Waynesboro. She later worked at Ponderosa, Chambersburg. Prior to her retirement in 1999, she was employed at Bonanza, Chambersburg, for 9 years.
Mrs. Patterson was a member of Quincy United Methodist Church, Quincy, PA and a former member of Faith United Methodist Church, Waynesboro. She also was a member of Joe Stickell American Legion Post #15 Ladies Auxiliary, Waynesboro and Charles Nitterhouse VFW Post #1599 Ladies Auxiliary, Chambersburg.
She enjoyed needlepoint, reading, traveling and visiting family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one aunt, Margaret Oliver, a resident of Menno Haven, Chambersburg; and a number of cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step father, Leo Stull; and one sister, Linda Kay Bonebrake in 1945.
