Martha Roution Amos, age 87, formerly of Mackville, passed away at 2:41 a.m., Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort. A native of Marion County, she was born on January 21, 1929 to the late Onie Marshall and Margaret V. Cox Roution.
She was a Baptist by faith, and an inspector for the former Cowden Manufacturing Company of Springfield.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James V. Amos on September 30, 2000 and three brothers, O.J., Eugene and Edward Roution.
Survivors include: her sister, Frances Young of Lawrenceburg and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 19 with Rev. Cal Adams, pastor of the Temple Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Peter Cemetery at Mackville.
