Born on November 21, 1920 in Yonkers, she was the daughter of Stanley and Mary Kuchmierowski. She was a member of the Pulaska Association in Yonkers and the Polish Club in Yonkers where she enjoyed many evenings of dinner and dancing. She also enjoyed attending dinner dances in the Catskills, long walks around her neighborhood and spending time with her grandchildren.
On November 16, 1941, Loretta married Stephen J. Osekosky who predeceased her on December 15, 2002. She was also predeceased by her sons, Stephen Osekoski and Vincent Osekosky. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Stickter and her husband, Jeffrey of LaGrangeville and six grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Yonkers.
