Pauline Martin Wilcox Mills, 87, longtime Seminole resident, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 20, 2017 at her home in Seminole, Oklahoma surrounded by her family and friends. Pauline was born February 2, 1929 in Prague, Oklahoma to Ezra Martin and Ida Stewart Martin.
She was a homemaker and a Blue Bell {now Wrangler} employee whom always had a smile on her face and a twinkle of mischievousness in her eyes. She rarely ever met a stranger and if so, they weren't a stranger for very long. She was an active camper, gardener, fisherman and dancer. You could always find her immersed among family activities, riding sea doo's, pontoon, bass boats, 4 wheelers, dancing, ball games, snapping beans, shucking corn, digging potatoes and slicing up her favorites, tomatoes, okra and watermelon fresh from the garden.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ezra and Ida Martin, two husbands, Grover Wilcox in 1998 and Bob Mills in 2002, two sisters, Lorene Dillon and Ruby Robertson.
She is survived by her children, Buster Wilcox and his wife Linda of Seminole, Oklahoma, Diane Meeks and her husband Jackie of Noble, Oklahoma and Jimmy Don Wilcox of Seminole, her grandchildren, Barbara Frayser and her husband Robert, of Seminole, Danny Wilcox and his wife Kerry of Mansfield, Texas, Michelle Henderson and husband Troy, of Moore, Oklahoma, David Wilcox of Seminole, Jeremy Wilcox and Ashlee of Seminole, and Jennifer Wilcox of Seminole, her great grandchildren, Lindsey Shores of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Megan Wilcox of Mansfield, Texas, Davian Wilcox of Seminole, Jessica Moppin, Jaxson Wilcox, Kolby Johnson, Andrea Wilcox, Alyssa Johnson, Tanner Johnson and Trace Johnson, all of Seminole, great great grandchildren, Aaliah Jennings of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and Chayton Lee Moppin of Seminole, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating at the service. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be J.D. Wilcox, Jeremy Wilcox, Jackie Meeks, Troy Henderson, Danny Wilcox, Buster Wilcox with honorary bearers will be David Wilcox, Roland Robertson, Robert Frayser and Ricky Allen.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
