Abigail was the daughter of Nathaniel Wheeler and Abigail Clough. Her mother's name wasn't on the birth record written from old town records, but was found in her sister Hannah's records. Hannah married Josiah's brother, Hiram C. Blodgett, about 1841 then married John L. Haynes in 1867 after Hiram died.
On Oct 27, 1849 in NH she married Josiah Blodgett, son of Elijah Blodgett and Susan Heriden.
Their children were Edna P, James Riley, Hemp Hill, Sally, John Nelson, Eveline G, Russell, Susan A, Jennie, and Cora. They also had a son in Feb 1870, not named in the census, who I never found after that.
They lived in Northumberland, Stratford, and Lancaster.
Her husband predeceased her in Dec 1886; daughters Susan in July 1875, Sally in Dec 1875, and Cora in May 1880. Daughter Jennie, born 1867, was only in the 1870 census, along with the infant son born in Feb 1870, but no death record can be found for them.
Josiah's death record didn't list burial place, but Abigail's did. There are no headstones here for them but children Cora and Susan have headstones.
