Denver King was born February 17, 1939 in Clay County and departed this life Thursday, January 26, 2017 at his residence, being 77 years of age. He was the son of the late Ben & Rosa (Barrett) King.
Denver is survived by his wife Kathleen King of Tyner and by two sons, David King and Danny King both of Tyner. He is also survived by a sister, Ruth Tincher of Mt. Orb, OH and by four brothers, Doc King and Darrell King both of Tyner, Dennis King of Goshen, OH and Jim King of Cincinnati, OH. Denver was blessed with a granddaughter, Taylor King.
In addition to his parents, Denver was also preceded in death by the following siblings, Lola Miles, Lydia Boggs, Hubert King, Blane King, Earl King and Paul King.
Denver was a member of the Maulden Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, January 29, 2017 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Burchette officiating. Burial will follow in the Neeley Cemetery.
