"Gallupville had a sudden death on Monday morning, when Aaron Barber, who lived on the Abram Frink farm, died in the Cox Hotel in that village. Mr. Barber went to Gallupville on Saturday to attend to some business, when he was stricken with a severe illness and remained in an unconscious condition until his death. He was 73 years of age, and leaves behind his widow and many friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday at 1 p. m., Rev. Paris officiating. Interment in Gallupville cemetery."
