Charlene M. (Rennier) Schwager, 82, of Sheffield Village, Ohio, and formerly of Flora, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016, surrounded by family following a sudden illness.
Friends may call Tuesday at Busch Funeral home, Avon Lake, Ohio. A prayer services will be held at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Sheffield Lake, Ohio.
Charlene was born on May 10, 1933, in Olney. She retired from Roadmaster after 23 years. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, and she enjoyed quilting, playing solitaire, and knitting hats for Birthright and the homeless.
Mrs. Schwager is survived by her daughter, Bonnie M. Kirtos (John), of Sheffield Village, Ohio; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene H.; seven children, Norman Jean, Carolyn Marie, Harold Anthony, Rita Catherine, Barbara Ann, Paul Eugene and Mary Evelyn; parents, E.J. and Helen Rennier; one sister; and three brothers.
