Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Holy Rosary will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown with Rev. Father David Braun officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Stringtown.
Mrs. Rennier was born February 11, 1908, in Richland County, the daughter of Leo and Ida (Rennier) Kocher.
She married Ephraim "EJ" Jacob Rennier on July 17, 1929. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2003.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stringtown and Ladies Home Extension.
Mrs. Rennier is survived by her sons, Robert Rennier and his wife, Judy, of Olney, and Melvin Rennier and his wife, Donna, of Claremont; daughters, Charlene Schwager, of Flora, Delores Hemrich, of Olney, Mary Volk and her husband, Herman, of Claremont, Rita Schafer and her husband, David, of Newton, and Joanne Bahl, of Claremont; sisters, Serena Kaufmann, of Olney, and Sister Hildegard Rennier, of Paola, Kan.; brothers, Ralph Kocher, of Olney, and Herman Kocher, of Olney; sister, Mildred Drewes, of Wakefield; 47 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Richard, Kenneth and James; one brother; two sisters; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
