Richard Levi Fackrell passed away quietly Jan. 29, 2017, at his home in Las Vegas.

He was born Jan. 27, 1944 in Caldwell, Idaho, in the car while enroute to the hospital.

After graduating from barber college, he met Shirley Carolyn "Jill" Holland in 1965 and was married in the LDS temple in Idaho Falls. The couple moved to Burley, Idaho, and soon started a family.

A barber for 55 years, he moved to Oxnard, Calif. in 1984 and then settled in Las Vegas in 1989, where he lived and worked for the rest of his life.

He was an honest, good natured man, a selfless husband and father and an avid fan of professional wrestling. He enjoyed his work and his customers and was always ready with a terrible joke, even if he didn't think it was. His smile and kind demeanor will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jill; his brother, Bruce; and parents, Elsie Evelyn and David Karl Fackrell.

He is survived by his children: Sue Lynn Silva (Jeffrey), of Auburn, WA, and Levi Ross Fackrell (Gina), of Las Vegas; grandchildren: Kiera Lewis, Christopher Correll, Jayden Silva and Sebastian Fackrell; great-grandson, Morrison Brown; and four older siblings: Earl, Bob, Ralph Fackrell and Millie Lawrence.

Viewing and service will begin at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, at the LDS Chapel, 9270 S. Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89123.

Burial will be near his wife, Friday, Feb. 10, at Pleasant View Cemetery, in Burley.
