Mrs. MARIAM WHITTINGTON, wife of Mr. John Whittington, deceased, died at her residence nine miles south-east of Butler, at 6 o’clock p.m., on Friday 24th, from typhoid pneumonia. Mrs. Whittington was apparently in good health up to 10 o’clock on Thursday morning and died at six the next evening. She was the mother of seven children, and a most excellent lady. Her remains were interred in NEW HOPE CEMETERY near Reynolds on Saturday.
