Mrs. McLafferty was the daughter of
Richard J. and Margaret Sweeney Burke.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.
Mrs. McLafferty enjoyed playing cards, gambling and playing bingo. Most important was her family.
For four generations, she had hosted the family meals several times a year.
Surviving are her three sons, four daughters, sixteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. McLafferty; six brothers, Hugh, John, James, Joe, Harold and Frank Burke; and her daughter-in-law, Kay McLafferty.
Friends will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 668 Clearfield Road, Fenelton. The Rev. Matthew McClain, pastor, will officiate.
Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery.
