RAYMOND THOMPSON RETIRED EMPLOYHEE OF GALLOWAY-WEST

Raymond M. Thompson, 62, of 235 Griffith St., died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Rolling Meadows.

Mr. Thompson was born Nov. 14, 1903, in Lodi, the son of Thomas and Gertie Thompson. He married Myrtle Anderson. She died in 1960. A member of the Division Street Methodist Church, he had been employed at the Galloway-West Co. for 35 years, retiring in 1957. He was a member of Borden’s Quarter Century Club.

Survivors include three sons, Thomas, Howard and Raymond, two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Coller and Mrs. Richard Welch, and 11 grandchildren, all of the city; a brother, Chester, Lodi; and four sisters, Mrs. Eda Bowman and Mrs. Juanita Johnson, Lodi, Mrs. Julius Jameson, Rio, and Mrs. Myrinda Obrecht, Stoughton. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Rev Francis S. Foulke officiating. Burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. The body is in state at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Raymond M. Thompson, who died Saturday, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, Rev. Francis S. Foulke officiating.

Mrs. June Koenigs was the soloist and Mrs. Watson Waehler, the organist. Burial was in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Claude Thompson, Calonel Thompson, Richard Thompson, TJerry Thompson and Clarence Bechler.
