She married James R. Obrecht on April 7, 1930.
Myrinda was a humble woman of integrity and grace, who lived life in a simple way. She was focused on her family and enjoyed all the gatherings that are part of a big family. She especially enjoyed spending time with the children. She loved visiting and traveled to many places. Myrinda had a wonderful wit, and her zingers are fondly remembered. She made her home, with her son, in Stoughton for many years.
She leaves behind a son, three daughters, three sons-in-law,
daughter-in-law, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law and her husband.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, James R. Obrecht; son, James D. Obrecht; daughter, Mary A. Lyon; two sons-in-law, Russell Volla and Arnold Dalsoren; three brothers, and four sisters.
Funeral services were held at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home assisted the family.
