Funeral services were conducted at Grandfalls for Mrs. Martha Agnes Stapp, 68, wife of G. W. Stapp of that city, who died Sunday night [18 Nov 1945]. Rev. Hollis Yielding of the Grandfalls Baptist Church conducted the services and interment was in the Grandfalls Cemetery.
Mrs. Stapp had made her home in south Ward County for the past 12 years and was widely known throughout the county. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and two sons, Walter Stapp, formerly of Monahans but now residing at Alpine and Frank Stapp of Menard. A number of grandchildren also survive.
