Marshall Boyce Bailey, age 68, of Berkeley Springs, WV, died on Friday, February 10, 2017 at The Berkeley Springs Center LLC.

Born June 28, 1948 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Bernard Alston and Frances Rebeca Henderson Bailey.

He was of the Protestant faith. He attended public schools in Baltimore, MD. Marshall was a member of Loyal Order of Moose #1483 and Alderton-Dawson American Legion Post #60, both in Berkeley Springs. He had worked with Asplundh, Zero-Pac in Winchester, VA, Sandy’s Truck Stop in Hancock, MD and most recently with the maintenance department of Greenway Cemetery. Marshall enjoyed shooting pool, dancing and fishing.

He is survived by three brothers, Roland Alston Bailey and Marvin Lee Bailey, both of Berkeley Springs and Leonard Charles Bailey of Okeechobee, FL and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Viola Crouse Bailey on January 17, 2006 and one brother, Leland Alston Bailey.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV. Service and interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help defray funeral expenses may be made to Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home.
