Ocala - Deacon Albert Ashwood passed away February 13, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Reddick, FL on December 2, 1930 to Albert Ashwood, Sr. and Annie Bell Munroe.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Ashwood; daughter, Valarie Cloud; sister, Alberta Bowden of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Norwood Harmon of Dayton, OH; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister in-law, Alpine Magness; brother in-law, Willie MCcombs (Lawana); nephew, Rev. Delbert Thompson (Linda); and a host of nephews and nieces.
Visitation for Deacon Ashwood will be held on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Clark Funeral Home from 10am to 5pm. Home going services will be held at United Missionary Baptist Church, Saturday, February, 18, 2017 at 3: 00pm Rev. Nathaniel Rawls, Pastor.
