Mrs. Dorothy D. Damon
MAYVILLE-Mrs. Dorothy Drew Damon, 46, of 82 Morris Street, Mayville, died at 7 P.M. Monday at the home of her brother-in-law, Lester Damon, of Gerry. She was the widow of Lawrence Damon who preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1954. She had been ill for four months. She was born March 29, 1912 in South Sea, England. She had been a resident of this community for 13 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Mayville, the Guild of that church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Rebeccas. She is survived by two sons, Ronald and Dexter, and one daughter, Lynette, all at home; and her mother and several brothers and sisters in England. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday from the St. Paul's Episcopal Church with Rev. Paul B. Miller, pastor of that church, officiating. Burial will be in Mayville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville.
