Published in a Chicago Tribune Media Group Publication on Feb. 18, 2017∼My favorite aunt, Auntie Emily went to live with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She is reunited with her beloved family. What a great person she was. I used to call her a saint on earth. She was not only fun, but also wanted to help all of us. She was outgoing, happy, cheerful and full of energy. She was so young at heart.
I may write more later.
She was born and raised in Chicago. She lived in Humboldt Park and Wicker Park. She attended Goethe and Tuley. She worked at Mars Candy for a while and for the USPS. Emily has a brick with her name on it in a Wicker Park area park.
She is preceded in death by her parents Alex and Lucy. Bros and sisters, Betty, Chester, Jane, Olga, Marion (Curly), Steve and Art.
