Mr. Bubel was born July 23, 1878 in Marine City, and worked in St. Clair County as a farmer and produce dealer most of his life. He and Martha Wurzel, Fargo, were married Dec. 7, 1904.
He is survived by his widow, a daughter, Mrs. Meryl Baker, Utica, a son, Gordon Bubel, Milan, five grandchildren, a brother, Charles Bubel and a sister, Mrs. Anna Defoe, both of Sandusky.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the family home, 7009 Fargo road, and at 2:30 p.m. in Fargo Methodist church. Rev. Earl Greer, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. The remains were to arrive this afternoon from Jones funeral home, Centerline.
