Private Graveside Services for Larry Coggin, 77, of Dimmitt were held Friday at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Coggin passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2018 in Dimmitt.
Larry Burl Coggin was born March 6, 1941 in Lovington, New Mexico to Willie Richard and Laura Winnifred (Matthews) Coggin. Larry attended Schools in Borger and moved to Hereford in 1988. He was a self-employed welder, mechanist, and mechanic.
Those left to cherish his memory are a brother, John Coggin and wife Kay of Sequin, Texas; a sister, Mary Russell and husband Terry of Hereford; a son, Clyde Richard Coggin of Hereford; and a daughter Renae Cox of Fritch, Texas.
He was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Dwain Coggin and Willie Coggin; and one sister, Thelma McDonald.
