Laura Winnifred Coggin
SEGUIN - Graveside services for Laura Winnifred Coggin, 90, formerly of Killeen, will be at 10 a.m. today at Killeen City Cemetery with the Rev. Jack Husung officiating.
Mrs. Coggin died June 22, 2004, in Seguin.
She was born May 1, 1914, in Crosbyton.
Mrs. Coggin was raised and educated in Crosbyton and Lovington, N.M.
After she and Willie "Bill" Coggin were married, they moved to Borger, where they raised their family.
Later, they moved to Killeen, where they lived until her husband's death in 1992.
Mrs. Coggin then moved to Hereford and lived there until she returned to Seguin to be near her children.
She was a member of Sunset Baptist Church in Hereford.
Survivors include three sons, Willie Coggin of Killeen, John Coggin of Seguin and Larry Coggin of Hereford; two daughters, Thelma McDonald of Seguin and Mary Russell of Hereford; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Coggin was also preceded in death by a son, Dwain Coggin; and her parents, Kenneth Jerome and Epsie Kenyon Adams Matthews.
Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home of Killeen is in charge of arrangements.
