Obituary for Rose Anna Leary
MRS. ROSE ANNA LEARY.
Mrs. Rose Anna Leary, of Leary street, Tuckahoe, died on Monday, August 7th, of a complication of diseases..
At the time of her death Mrs. Leary was 74 years of age, and had been a resident of Tuckahoe for over 50 years. Her husband, Michael Leary, died about fourteen years ago.
Mrs. Leary leaves four daughters, Mrs. Thomas Forrest, Mrs. William Madden, Mrs. Elizabeth White, of Tuckahoe, and Mrs. Michael Barrett, of Boston, and one son, Mr, John Leary, of Tuckahoe. Besides these children Mrs. Leary leaves over forty grandchildren and four great-grand-children.
The funeral was largely attended, and was held this morning from her late residence. The cortege proceeded to the Church of the Immaculate Conception mass was celebrated at 10 o'clock. The interment was in Holy Mount Cemetery. The pallbearers where her grandsons, Messrs. John, Frederick arid William Forrest and John Madden. Undertaker George Davis of NeAv Rochelle, had charge of the funeral arrangements.
