Bonnie Madison, 90, of Hayti, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at the Pemiscot Memorial Health Systems in Hayti.

Born May 13, 1916 in the Ranger Community, Yell County, Ark., she is the daughter of the late Ossland "Oss" and Ida Mae Guest Smith.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Fisher; two granddaughters, LaRenda Bullock and Ashley Rogers; and two sisters, Juanita Stubbs and Jean Younger.
Bonnie was united in marriage to W.T. "Buck" Madison on August 18, 1934 in Yell County, Ark. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Madison leaves three daughters: Betty McCabe of Poplar Bluff, Margaret Weaver, of Shreveport, La., and LaNell Davis and her husband Gerald of Wardell; one son, Jim Madison and his wife Kathy, of Hayti; 11
grandchildren: Jon Weaver, Ron Weaver, Leigh Ann Meza, John Fisher, Nancy Fisher, Kent Fisher, Joey Clowers, LaRae Ward, Jim Madison, Matthew Madison and Amy Branson; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Ora Roberts, of Macon, Ga.; and one brother, Jim Victory, of Denver, Colo.

Funeral services for Mr. Madison were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2007 at the John W. German Funeral Home Chapel in Hayti with Bro. Bobby Quinn officiating.

Burial was at the Pemiscot Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Caruthersville with John W. German Funeral Home in charge of services.
