Streeter, ND Golden Jubilee: 1905 -1955

Mrs. Rosina Betsch Woehl
Rosina, daughter of Gottlieb and Eustina Sukert Blaskowsky, was born April 17, 1867, in South Russia.

Andrew Betsch and Rosina were married in 1887. They came to America that same year, locating three miles south of Lehr. In 1900 they moved to a farm northeast of Streeter. After the death of Mr. Betsch October 25, 1917, Mrs. Betsch, with the help of her boys, continued farming until 1920. She then sold the farm amd moved to Streeter.

Mrs. Rosina Betsch married Phillip Woehl in 1930.

Mrs. Woehl has reached the age of 88. She is in excellent health, does all her own house work. Only once was it necessary for her to spend a few days in a hospital. To her goes the honor of being the oldest living pioneer whose biography is written in our Golden Jubilee Book.
