Raymond J. Hefti, of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the age of 67. Beloved husband of the late Loretta Hefti by first marriage, and cherished husband of 17 years to Nancy Semon-Hefti; loving son of the late Frederick Joseph and Anna Mae Hefti; devoted father of Daniel Raymond Hefti, Lindsey Nell Semon, Bryan Joseph (Abbey Lynn) Hefti, Christine Susan (Joseph Patrick) Hitt, and Clark William Semon; loving grandfather of Oliver Patrick Hitt and one on the way, Frederick Raymond Hefti; dear brother of Ruth Ann (Don) Kienstra, Gerri (Joe) Kloeppel, Marilyn Leach, Janet Mueller, Dan (Debbie) Hefti, Charles (Terri) Hefti, Joseph (Jim) Hefti, the late Tom Hefti, and the late Paul Hefti; and cherished brother-in-law of Vicki McDaniel and Judy Hefti. Raymond was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bob Mueller. Devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Brimming with love, joy, and kindness, Ray was a rare and precious gift to anyone who had the great fortune of knowing him. He was a man who lived his love for Jesus Christ every day; a light to everyone he met, a bottomless well of forgiveness and support, a counselor, a friend. He adored his children and grandchildren, always there to lend a hand, even when his hands were full. He was an avid golfer and cyclist, a voracious reader, and lived his life with endless curiosity. Always up for an adventure, he and his wife, Nancy, never turned down an opportunity to travel, explore, or enjoy their family together. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made to The Tiger Woods Foundation.
