Geo. Athey who was injured in a runaway a couple of weeks ago, died Wednesday noon from blood poisoning following his injuries. He was a man of about 45 years, unmarried, and leaves a widowed mother, two sisters, Mrs. Jesse Pearl, of California, and Mrs. Geo Jenness, of Quimby, and brother, Art. Athey of Quimby.

Geo. Athey who had his left arm and leg broken in a recent runaway died Wednesday noon at bis home with blood poisoning following his injuries The Doctors were planning to remove a leg but when they entered his room be was found dead. He was man of 45 years. Leaves a widowed mother, two sisters and a brother to mourn his death. After funeral services, the remains were laid in Pilot Rock Cemetery.
