Renetta Sebastian, 80, of Austin, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in Scottsburg, Scott County, Indiana. She was born on March 11, 1936 in Saul, Perry County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Farmer and Lillie May (Couch) Napier. Renetta was a retired lab specialist for Scott Memorial Hospital in Scottsburg, Indiana, where she worked for 32 years before retiring in 1994. She attended the Safe Harbor Christian Church in Memphis, Indiana. She sang in a group called The Christian Echoes that performed at entertainment venues in many different locations.

Renetta was preceded in death by nine brothers, Murphy, Everitt, David, Trolley, Dennis, Rolley, Willie, George and Fred Napier and three sisters, Versie Napier Barrett, Verda Napier Adams and Felda Napier Turner. (Update: Her last surviving sibling, Clarence McKinley Napier, passed away a month after her death on April 18, 2017 at age 84 in Knoxville, Knox County, Tennessee.)

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Rash Sebastian, Sr.; a son, Rash Sebastian, Jr. (Sharon) in Austin, Indiana; a daughter, Gayle Michelle Sebastian of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; a brother, Clarence Napier (Veridies) of Powell, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Michael Sebastian, Amy Lamar (Martin), Travis Babbs (Melissa), Misty Barnes (Phil) and Lance Draper (Lindsay) and ten great grandchildren, Mitchel, Noah, Ashlynn, Alek, Brayden, Casen, Molly, Corbin, Ava, Reese.
