William Baty "Bill" Brooks, 91, died March 19, 2017 in Amarillo Texas. Bill was a resident of Paris for 42 years and recently moved to an Amarillo assisted living facility with his wife of 65 years, Corrine Brooks.

Bill's working career was with the USDA Soil Conservation Service and the Red River Authority. He was a deacon in the Paris First Baptist Church, an active member in Kiwanis, a WWII veteran and a graduate of Texas A&M University class of 1952.

He is survived by his wife Corrine Brooks, two sons, Jim Brooks and wife Angela of Corpus Christi and Wyatt Brooks and wife Laura of Amarillo, three grandchildren, William Brooks of Amarillo, Hanna Rahmani and husband Sana of Fort Irwin, California and Michael Brooks of Mesa Arizona.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Brooks of Paris.

A graveside service has been set for Friday, March 24, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Tolar Cemetery in Tolar, Texas.
