Dorothy was born in Popularville, MS 1910; she was the only daughter to Zebulon and Molly Haydon. She Married Earl Barker in 1932 in Maryland. After he past away in 1959, she remarried in the 60's to Vernon Waites. Vernon past way in the 70's. Dorothy retired from the Pioneer Telephone company in 1974. She was a very active member of the Eastern Star in Annapolis and enjoyed spending time in Florida during the winter.
