Pittsburgh Press, September 27, 1981:

LaFACE
On Sat. Sept 26, 1981, John LaFace, beloved husband of the late Amelia Disanzi LaFace; father of Joanne Volkay & Lisa LaFace; also survived by two grandchildren. Funeral from McCABE BROS., INC., FUNERAL HOME, 6214 Walnut St., Shadyside on Wed. Sept. 30th at 9 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philomena Church at 10 am. Visitation with the family Sun. 7-9 pm. Mon. & Tues. 2-4 & 7-9 pm.

Personal note:
I added "Johnny" to findagrave mostly to share a fond childhood memory. In the 1960's, when I was a young boy, we lived a few houses down and across the street from Johnny. Behind our house was an alley with several detached garages. At the end of his work day, Johnny came up the alley in a little dump truck that he drove. I don't know what kind of work he did with it. He would then open one of the garages, and bring out his car - a big white Pontiac convertible, and put the dump truck into the garage. He would let me ride in the convertible back down the alley, and around to Mathilda street and back up the hill. That was a great thrill for me, as I've always been a car guy.

Until I did this research in 2017, I had no idea he had lost his wife at such a young age.
