Mr. Albert Harrison, age 85, of 15 Ellesmere Drive Greenville, SC died Monday March 20, 2017 at the Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Born in Piedmont, SC as son of the late Gussie Rufus and Minnie W. Harrison. He attended the public schools of Greenville County and at an early age joined Flat Rock Baptist Church. Later he joined the United States Army and was a disabled veteran having served in the Korean Conflict.

He retired from Cryovac with more than thirty-five years of dedicated service.

He is survived by his wife Annie Harrison of the home; one daughter, Dorothy Jean (Henry) Cheeks of Greenville, SC; one son, Cliford Chatman of Greenville, SC; a step-daughter, Jo Ann Guine of Raleigh, NC; one brother, Ed (Bernice) Harrison of Greenville, SC; one sister, Frances (Phillip) Johnson of Moonville, SC; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Beasley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. M. Flemming officiating. Burial will be in the M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military rites.
