Antonio Raposo, 94, of New Bedford died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Hathaway Manor after a long illness. He was the widower of Leontina (Carvalho) Raposo.
Born in Ajuda Bretanha, Sao Miguel, Azores, he resided in New Bedford 27 years.
He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church.
Mr. Raposo was a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Victor Raposo and his wife, Helena, and Abel Raposo and his wife, Maria, all of New Bedford; a daughter, Regina Raposo of New Bedford; a sister, Vitoria Raposo of Canada; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Burial in St. John's Cemetery.
