MARGELANE AYERS-KENNEDY, 92, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017. Born July 17, 1924, in Boynton, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Nell Butcher. Marge-lane worked as a telephone operator with Southwestern Bell while living in Oklahoma. In her spare time she enjoyed water aerobics, line dancing, and staying active. When she moved to Indiana, she worked for Milk Marketing before her retirement. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Sickmiller; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Orval Carl Ayers; second husband, Kelsey Thomas Kennedy; sons, Bruce Alan Ayers and Ronald Lee Ayers; and brother, Willard Lee Butcher. Graveside service is 1 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017, at Lakeside Cemetery, in Fremont, Ind.
