Cassidy
Elmer L. Cassidy, 63, of 6608 E. Latham St., Scottsdale Ariz., formerly of Delaware County, died Friday at the home of his son, Elmer L. Cassidy, Jr., 1416 Spackman Lane, West Chester.
Mr. Cassidy, son of the late Frank P. and Jane Napier Bean Cassidy, was born in Upland. He lived 20 years in the Lionville and Exton areas, Chester County, before moving to Scottsdale about a year ago.
He was employed 30 years as a projectionist at Warner Theater in West Chester and was a member of Local 516, International Alliance of Theatrical and State Employees of Chester and Local 336 of the same organization in Phoenix.
He also was a member of Masonic Lodge 322 of West Chester and Loyal Moose Lodge 908 of West Chester.
In addition to his son, Elmer, he is survived by two other sons, Charles J. of West Chester, and Michael D. of Cheverly, Md.; a daughter, Mrs. Napier V. LaRose of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two brothers, James and Fred of Upland; a sister, Mrs. Jennie Patterson of Lenni, and 10 grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Oliver P. Founds Funeral Home, High and Union Sts., West Chester. Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery, Lower Chichester.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
