A funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth C. Cox, 88, who died Thursday afternoon at a local nursing home, was held this morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Cox, a member of the local chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, was buried beside her late father, Martin Cahill, in the Confederate Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Fred diCicco, David Hall, Paul Keeler, John Ventura, John Treblic and William P. Wholey.
A rosary service was held Friday night at Elkins Funeral Home. Mrs. Cox had no immediate relatives.
