Son of the late Elder and Georgianna Munn; husband of Marie Rattley who preceded him in death; father of Willa, Georgia Ann, Janie, Shirley, Sherry, John, Jerry and James; one daugher Christine preceded him in death; brother of Florida Mae. John spent the early part of his life and attended Dunn, NC public schools. He was a resident of Trenton, New Jwrsey since 1948. He retired from Laborers Local #172 of Bordentown after many years as a construction worker. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after serving during World War II.
