Berniece R. Suter, 78, R.R.6, Connersville, died at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Parkview Memorial Hospital in Ft. Wayne, where she had been a patient for three weeks.

Mrs. Suter was born July 13, 1907, in Greensburg, the daughter of Joseph and Dora Bell Robbins. On June 19, 1954, she was married to Harley Suter, who preceded her in death July 21, 1984. She had been a resident of Ft. Wayne for 24 years, and had resided in Connersville the past five years.

Survivors include two sons: Kenneth V. Scott, Ft. Wayne, and Gerald L. Scott, New Haven; one step-daughter: Joan Samora, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters: Opal Reed, Connersville and Orpha Endicott, Titusville, Fla.; three granddaughters and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

The services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Showalter-Blackwell-Myers Chapel, 920 Central, Connersville with entombment in the Valley Grove Cemetery in Wayne County. Friends may visit after 6 p.m. Wednesday, and prior to the service on Thursday.
