DEATH CLAIMS MRS ROBBINS
Rites Here Tuesday for Ex-Resident, 77

Mrs Dora M Robbins, 77, wife of Joseph H Robbins and a former resident of Greensburg and Decatur county, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs Oscar Bevington, near Connersville, at 12:45pm Saturday. She had been ill for about two weeks.

Born in Decatur county on Oct 11, 1872, she was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Bell. A former resident of the Letts community, she held membership in the Bethel Methodist church there.

On Dec 24, 1891, she was married in Decatur county to Joseph H Robbins. She and her husband had located at Connersville in 1932 and prior to that time she had lived in Greensburg, where she was well known.

The survivors are: The husband, Joseph H Robbins, of Connersville; five daughters, Mrs Louis D McHenry, of Greensburg, Mrs Orpha Endicott, of Rushville, Mrs George Reed and Mrs Oscar Bevington, of Connersville, and Mrs Bernice Grace, of Fort Wayne; two sons, Howard Robbins, of Connersville, and Sherman Robbins, of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs Elizabeth Pool, of Indianapolis,and Mrs George Wilkerson, of Greensburg; 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday at the Wenning and Porter funeral home. The Rev Stanley P Mahan, pastor of the greensburg Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be made in South Park cemetery.

The body is at the funeral home, where friends may call after 6 pm Monday.
