In Avon, Lake county, Ill., July 11th, 1877, Adeline, wife of Cyrus E. Harvey, aged 56 years, 5 months and 18 days.
Mrs. Harvey was one of the early settlers of Lake county, having come here with her husband in 1844, locating upon the very farm which had been her home up to the time of her death. Her illness, which lasted about three weeks, was very severe from the first. The disease was in the nature of diphtheria at the beginning, cryslpllas(?) ensuring, her life was terminated in a short time. Her husband and six children survive her and all were present at the funeral. Mr. Harvey desires to return the earnest thanks for the kindness of the many friends and neighbors, who ministered so tenderly to the sick, and sympathized so fully with the surviving relatives.

Adeline was a product of her mother's first marriage. Adeline's mother remarried Henry Barron. Adeline has been referred to as Adeline Parks Barron Harvey.
