The Indians did not killed Henry during the attack on 23 May 1790; all escaped with the exception of Miss VanCleve and Kline, who was shot; near Boone's old Station on Brashear's Creek, when about one and one half miles from the meeting and in sight of a settlement.
His first marriage was to Rachel Ryker on 5 January 1791 (source - Jefferson CO, Kentucky Marriages, Vol. 1, 1781-1826, page 12, witnessed by Rev. Jeshus Morris).
They lived at the fort for protection from the Indians, near where Lexington now is.
Had one child named Henry b.1792
He died 13 Dec 1793.

Rachel later married (2)William Robbins on 31 December 1793.
They went to Tippecanoe County, Indiana where he took part in the Indian War. He there became sick and died in 1795.
Rachel's third marriage was to Samuel Smock on 18 November 1797, in Kentucky (source - Early Kentucky Settlers, Marriage Bonds, 1797, Page 147).
