Andy Melton, 60, Route 1, Ozark, died at 6:55 a.m. Tuesday at Springfield Baptist Hospital after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Melton was a farmer, and for the past several years drove a bus for the Spokane school district. He was a member of the Highlandville Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Aggie; one son, Richard, Highlandville; two daughters, Mrs. Zoe Moore and Mrs. Jane Cummings, both of Route 1, Ozark; 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Other survivors are two brothers, Harve, Highlandville and Landon, Ozark; and three sisters, Mrs. Faye Lewis, Spokane, Mrs. Bama McCullough, Sparta and Mrs. Rena Bridges, Ozark. Services were at 2:30 p.m. today in Highlandville Baptist Church with the Rev. Thomas J. Bilyeu officiating, assisted by the Rev. Hugh Schultz. Burial was in Highlandville Cemetery under direction of Harris of Ozark.
