Katherine “Kathy” Powell Worthington, 63, of 115 Hill Trace Drive, wife of Arthur Thomas Worthington, Jr., died April 11 ,2017 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Paul Ellington and Katherine N. Driesch Powell. She had her Associate’s Degree in Engineering and was a member of Providence Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving in addition to her husband of the home are her children, Shelby Culbertson (Lyle Ouzts) and Arthur “Artie” T. Worthington III (Tina), both of Greenwood; a sister, Kay Ashley of Greenwood; a brother, Kenneth R. Powell of Winder GA; five grandchildren, Kaila and Jamie Ouzts, Katherine Worthington, Ashlynn Worthington, Tallen Hadden, and Thomas Sams; three great-grandchildren and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
