The parents and maiden name of his wife remain in dispute, lacking evidence and having a whole lot of speculation. What has been proved is this William is not a descendant of Benjamin Rush (signer of the Declaration of Independence).
His place of birth is believed to have been somewhere in New England (as the USA did not exist in before 1776). His place of death was in Turkeyfoot Township, but FAG will not allow the correct location to be entered. Ursina did not exist at that time, so he most assuredly did not die there.

Gravesite Details
By 2013 the tombstone has become so weathered it is nearly illegible. Earlier transcriptions taken in the 1930's and 40's were used to figure out what was on the tombstone.
