Services for Claude J. Foster were held Sunday at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Earl Adcock,Rev. Doug Haston, and Rev. Robert Jones officiated. Burial was in Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Foster dies December 13, at Knowles Hospital in Smithville.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Matthew and Nora Graham Foster.

Surviving are his wife, Beulah Williams Foster of Smithville; seven sons, Walter Gray Foster and Kenneth Foster both of Smithville,Donald Ray Foster of McMinnville, Eugene Aubrey, Jimmy B. and Joe Foster, all of Coal City, Ill.: a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Agee of Smithville; two step-daughters, Mrs, Sue Ellis and Mrs, Becky Adams, both of Smithville; four brothers, Elbert and Grady Foster of Smithville; Kelly Foster of Maryville and Ernest Foster of Canton, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Aline Welch of Maryland, Miss Elsie Foster of Smithville and Mrs.Maggie Vantrease of Nashville: 27 grandchildren and seven great-granddchildren.

Grandsons and nephews, Dave, Randy, Dannie, Jerry, Timmie, and Roger Foster, served as pallbearers.

Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
