Louis Jackson "Jay" Otts, 93, Died Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at the North Mississippi Medical Center.

He was Born April 5, 1924, in Lamar County, Alabama to Robert Houston and Carrie Abigail Dudley Otts.

He Served his Country during World War II Serving in the United States Navy. He Farmed most of his life but later in his life, took on some Public Work to stay busy. He Attended Belden Baptist Church. He Enjoyed Gardening, Wood Working, Spending Time with his Dog, Ranger, Feeding the Birds and Spending Time with his Family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 11 A.M., Friday at Belden Baptist Church with Bro. Jim Holcomb Officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 P.M., Thursday at the Church. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is Entrusted with the Arrangements.

He is Survived by Three Daughters, Tina Byrd and Husband, Tracy of Mooreville; Vickey Arnold and Husband, Dan of Huntsville, AL; and Evelyn Ray and Husband, Michael, of West Point; Seven Grandchildren, Lori Beth Ellis and Husband, Trey; Victoria Norris; John Tubbs and Wife, Maggie; Kacey Byrd; Nathan Arnold; Conner Enlow and Chris Enlow; and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.

He was Preceded in Death by his Parents; his Wife, Lillian Otts; his Close Friend, Jewell Lamb; his Siblings, James, Taft, Byron, Raymond, Cleo, Fletcher, Ellis, Jimmy, John, Billy, James, Shields and Jennie.

Pallbearers will be Trey Ellis, John Tubbs, Jamie Roberts, Sammy Green, Donald Worthey and J.C. Brassfield.
